WHY TO RECYCLE PAPERS?
|
Phases of the Process
HARVESTING: intermediary companies buy the material to individual recolectors.
CLASSIFICATION: the companies that recover the paper classify it in different categories, since each type of paper will serve to produce a new paper of similar characteristics. The white papers for writing will serve the production of new white paper to write on; the used corrugated cardboard boxes will serve to produce brown paper for packing, etc.
PACKED: Papers of different categories are pressed in great bundles; each one of these bundles will contain a specific type of used paper.
STORAGE: The bundles are stored in the companies sort keys, to the delay from being transported to the paper factories.
TRANSPORT: The bundles are transported in trucks to the paper factories that use the used paper like raw material.
TREATMENT: The heavy impurities - metal and wires - separated and are given to other industries to be reprocessed.
With the recycled paper 200 thousand tons annual of packing papers take place, for whose production the raw material is corrugated cardboard boxes daily used and old. Also the papers are made with recycled paper tissue, some fine cardboard, some papers of impression and writing, and papers to wrap.
